He is survived by: his wife Linda Ward Mitchem; his children, Brandon Mitchem (Rebecca) of Falls Mills, VA and Beth Mallory (Mike) of Princeton, WV; his sister Brenda Matthews (Ronnie) of Bluefield, VA; and his grandchildren, Megan Mallory (Trevor Mabe), Logan Mallory (Makayla Salem), Collin Mitchem and Harper Mitchem.
