He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Hatfield and Edna Johnson Hatfield Lester; his wife Linda Vivian Wimmer Hatfield; his sisters, Nell Hatfield Sparks King, Linda Lester and Charlotte Lester Agnew; and his adoptive father Mike (Cindy Dinger).
He is survived by: his siblings, Drema Tote, Rhonda Rae, Bucky Lester (Connie) and Ricky Lester (Barbara); and his caregivers, Sandra Weiss, Patricia Byrd (Jenny) and Rebecca Kade (Becky). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
