We announce the death of Susie Darlene Osborne (Bluefield, West Virginia), who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 76. Susie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Cassidy and Marie Cassidy; her husband Jack Osborne; her granddaughter Amy Hazelwood; her sisters, Norma Dylan (Jackie Dylan) and Judy Hale; and her brother-in-law Ed Osborne.
She is survived by: her daughter Alice (Dan Jones); her grandchildren, Cassie Jones (DeQuan Hurt), Kala (Josh Morgan), Tim (Amber Jones) and Nathan (Felicia Jones); her great grandchildren, Matthew, Mia, Serenity, Rebeca, Katie, Alley, Raven, Chloe, Kaysen, Nevaeh, Faith, Isaiah, Sammy, Grace, Angel and Lucas; her sisters, Phyllis (Larry Brooke), Iva and Chris Rarik; and her sisters-in-law, Kay Osborne, Liv Clevenger, Myrtle Osborne and Bonnie (Mike Reynolds). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
