It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Joe Welch of Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Welch and Nannie Doss Welch; and his siblings, Bonnie Price, Albert Bowman, Harold Welch, Bill Welch, Luther "Pug" Welch, Clara Cianelli and Vernie Welch.
He is survived by : his wife Orpha H Welch; his children, Sherry Ciccolini (Ron), Tommie Jo Longworth (Rick) and Charlie Welch; his granddaughters, Candace Longworth, Jessica Pennington (Paul), Amanda Gates (Eric) and Courtney Longworth; his great grandchildren, Emma Gates, Maggie Gates and Catherine Longworth-Bowling; and his sisters, Polly Scott and Judy Bullock.
