She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen Dye, Sr. and Virginia Finney-Dye; her son Richard Dye; her children-in-law, Jaylin Hewitt Dye, Lynford Davis and Granville Clarke; and her siblings, James Allen Dye, Jr., Robert Dye, Ed Dye, William Dye, Donald Dye, Elaine Henderson, Helen Brown and Dorothy Jamison.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Dye of Houston, TX, Veronica Foreman-Davis of Ossining, NY, Helen Clarke of Bluefield, WV and Joseph Foreman of Waterbury, CT; her daughter-in-law Jackie Dye of Washington, D. C.; her sister-in-law Aither Dye; and her goddaughters, Hope Patterson and Nicole Dabbs. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
