She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Myers and Jennie Myers; her husband Edward Lee Comer Jr.; her sons, James Markle Comer and Ronald Edward Comer; and her siblings, Clarence Myers, Woodrow Myers, Robert Myers, William Myers, Mildred Myers Helmandollar and Rose Myers Hendrick.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Comer Dobbins, Rick Dobbins, Kim Comer, Shawn and Marsha Comer; her daughters-in-law, Linda Bowling and Donna Comer; her grandchildren, Shannon Comer, Angie Comer Justice (Ron), Jessica Comer (Erin), Richard Dobbins (Monica), Jonathan Dobbins (Molly), Laney Comer Yates (Jerrod), Nikki Thomason, Morgan Comer-Miller (Carson), Madison Comer Pettrey (Gavin) and Clayton Comer (Shannon); and her great grandchildren, Maeley Miller (Tanner), Hannah Shrewsbury (Nick), Haley Justice, Hudson Dobbins, Colton Dobbins, Peyton Justice, Easton Dobbins, Oliver Comer-Miller, Brynn Dobbins, Grace Yates and Archie Comer-Miller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special family and friends.
In lieu of flowers Viv has requested donations be made to Thompson Chapel, Mary's Cradle, and the Bluefield Union Mission.
