It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Douglas Johnson of Bluewell, West Virginia, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Johnson and Dorothy Dinguss Johnson; his siblings, Howard Johnson, Fred Johnson, Martha Damron and Paula Caride; and his half-brother James Cantrell.

He is survived by : his children, Douglas DeWayne Johnson (Angie) of Springville, VA, Stephen Johnson (Jennifer) of Falls Mills, VA. and Dorothy Rena Cochran (Marty) of Springville, VA.; his siblings, Robert Johnson (Linda) of Raleigh, NC, Wayne Johnson (Estella) of Rocky Mount, VA, Randy Johnson of Louisville, KY., Mary Riffe (Robert) of Bluewell, WV, Brenda Sue Medellin (Al) of Canton, MI, Pamela Johnson of Marytown, WV, Sandy Hall of Hensley, WV and Phyllis Perkins (Larry) of Hensley, WV; and his close friend Anna Stevenson. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great-granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson.
