He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred. He is survived by: his wife Joanna; his children, Chad Mathena, Laurie Higgins, Jami, Robert Harvey, Misty and Scotty Carpenter; his grandchildren, Ethan Harvey, Laken Harvey and Gage Thompson; his children, Kyler Carpenter and Brynley Carpenter; and his siblings, Peggy Grubb and Cary Christian (Suzi).
