He was predeceased by: his parents, William Talley and Rose Tabor Acord. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Daniel; his children, Wayne, Lonnie, Danny "Dee" and Lisa; his daughters-in-law, Tossy Acord and Kelli Acord; his grandchildren, Jami Birchfield, Michell Allen, Randi Kuhn, Trina Canady, Leah Allen, Lonnie Acord, Kourtney Daniel, Danny Acord II, Norma Acord Combs, Zachary Acord, Mathew Acord, Jessica Alderman, Brittany Smith and John Acord; his nephew Wonnie Acord (Joan); and his caregivers, Linda Sears, Angie Daniels, Lori Bolen, Pam Scarafino, Stacy, Melva and Brittany.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bolt Church of God (2073 Bolt Rd, Bolt, WV 25817). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the Daniels Family Cemetery.
