He was predeceased by: his father Robert H. Saunders; his former wife Katherine Peyton; and his daughter Janie Peyton. He is survived by: his children, Christina Peyton of Nashville, NC and Robert Peyton (Jeri) of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Xavier, Zachary, Scaliyah, Kamari and Jon Carter; and his fiancée Gloria.
