He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Sweeney and Amanda Hoskinson Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Alice Elvena Barr; his children, Terry Barr of Florida, Dave Sweeney (Susan) of Ohio, Daniel Sweeney of Bowden and Randy Sweeney of Ohio; his brother Joe Sweeney of Dellslow, WV; his grandchildren, Thad, Steph, Eric, Brandi and Sari; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, William, Jake, Ashley Lynn and Brooklyn.
