She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Filipek and Nellie Filipek (Byk); her husband Daniel S. Bozo; and her siblings, Mary Peelish, Stella Novak, Lilly Janice, Blanche Statzer-Champer, Stephanie Walker Steele, Frances "Jennie" Humphrey, Joseph Filipek, Edward Filipek, Theodore Filipek, Walter Filipek and Andrew Filipek.
She is survived by: her extended family, John Peelish, Brian Linvile, Buddy Dearth, Ted Dixon, Leon Jarosz and Brian Shorts.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (129 Elmore St, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the High Lawn Memorial Park (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901).
Following her wishes she directed that no flowers be sent to her funeral. If you wish to make a donation in her memory send to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 129 Elmore Street Oak Hill, WV 25901.
