He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Ida Jane Pauley Spivey; and his brothers, Woodrow and William Spivey (Shirley Spivey). He is survived by: his close friend Carol Knuckles; and his daughters, Karen Wishnevsky of Bassett, VA and Sandy Hare of Narrows, VA..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grandview Memory Gardens (38659 Gov George C. Peery Hwy, Bluefield, VA 24605).
