With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Kirk of Breeden, West Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Opal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Opal farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Spurlock and Hester Spurlock (Vance); her husband Luther Kirk; and her son Earnie Spurlock. She is survived by: her daughter Glenna Baisden (Donnie) of Breeden; and her grandchildren, Adrienne Marcum (Joshua) of Lenore, DJ Baisden (Christa) of East Fork and Roger Baisden (Kayla) of Kermit. She is also survived by 8 greatgrandchildren, as well as a host of extended family.
