It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harrison Hurley of Brenton, West Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Hurley and Gertrude Justice Hurley; his siblings, Hassell "Cricket" Hurley, Havy Hurley, Dale Hurley and Betty Correll; and his father-in-law George Tomblin.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Hurley; his children, Kayla Hurley (Simba) and Joshua Tomblin (Ashley); his grandchildren, Nevaeh of Indian Creek, Brantley of Indian Creek, Riley of Indian Creek and Ryker of Indian Creek; his brothers, Tommy Hurley (Tammy) of Brenton, Timmy Hurley of Brenton, Mack Hurley of Brenton and Jimmy Hurley (Nadine) of Pineville; and his mother-in-law Patricia Tomblin of Indian Creek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evans-Calfee Funeral Service (614 Appalachian Hwy, Pineville, WV 24874). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
