With profound sadness, we say goodbye to India Lynn Stallsmith of Brenton, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. India left this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bernard and Mavis Vanover Bernard; her former husband Bobby Vance; her husband Ken Stallsmith; and her brothers, Randy Cook and Bill Cook.
She is survived by: her daughter Candace Bishop; her grandsons, Gregory Bishop Jr. (Cari), Andrew Bishop (Amanda) and Jacob Bishop (Taylor Thacker); her great grandchildren, Laniey and Jack Bishop; her siblings, Frank Cook, Patrick Nutter (Tina) and Claudette Schoolcraft; her friend Cindy Shadd; her pet Chewy; and also Francis Cantrell (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brenton Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
