She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Andrew and Dorothy Moats of Virginia; her daughter-in-law Jane Moats; her grandson Anthony Andrew Moats; and her siblings, Andrew "Buck" Moats (Patty), Shirley Moats (Lee) and Freda "Janie" Moats.
She is survived by: her son Clarence Andrew Moats; the father of her child Clarence Gilbert Moats; her granddaughter Whitney Jane Tichinel (Dustin); her great grandchild Navaida Tichinel; her stepdaughter Rebecca Pifer (Dennis); her stepgrandchildren, Steven Anderson and Amber Watson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Adaylynn and Alondra Watson; her siblings, Wayne Moats, Steven Moats (Rose) and Betty Moats; and her caregiver Samantha Burroughs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
