She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Grooters and Leone E. Platz Grooters; and her brothers, Larry, Gary and Roger Grooters.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Ferrell, Jr. (Candace) of Christiansburg, VA, John Ferrell (Susan) of Vancouver, WA, David Ferrell (Kathy) of Bridgeport, Paul Ferrell (Roberta) of Bridgeport, Robert Ferrell of Indianapolis, IN, Stephen Ferrell (Laurence) of Knoxville, TN and Daniel Ferrell (Tamela) of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew, Rachel, Nathan, Joseph, Lauren, Thomas and Caroline; her great grandchild Jacob; and her sisters, Lynne Irvine of Downers Grove, IL and Susan Flanagan of Alexandria, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (317 E Main St, Bridgeport, WV 26330).
