She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Reider and Nellie Reider (McCauley); her husband James A. Mearns; her sisters, Sherry Wiseman (Jim) and Sandra Murray; and her brother-in-law Thomas Fittro.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Marie Zelik (David) of Huber Heights, OH; her grandson Christopher John Dodd (Brandee) of Stephenson, VA; her great grandchildren, Hanna King (Derek) of Stephenson, VA, Christopher Dodd (Elyce) of Stephenson, VA and Carys Kirby (Joshua) of Stephenson, VA; her great great grandchild Myles King; her siblings, Kathryn Fittro of West Milford, Charles Reider (Mitzi) of Lost Creek, Debbie Bonnett (Larry) of Clarksburg and Diana Pumphrey (Richard) of Clarksburg; and her brother-in-law Chuck Murray of Lost Creek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
