He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Hill, Sr. and Edith E. Hill (Fletcher); his wife Catherine Rose "Doll" Hill (Carvelli); his daughter Donna C. Folio; and his brother John Hill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine J. Tedder (James Tedder, Sr.) of Jacksonville, FL and Kimberly Ross (Bill) of Midlothian, VA; his grandchildren, Anthony Folio of Pittsburgh, PA, James Tedder, II (Maria) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Olivia Malley (Tom) of Midlothian, VA and Zachary Ross of Midlothian, VA; his great grandchildren, Isiah Folio, Carson Folio, Callie Tedder, Serafina Tedder, Dominick Tedder, Auria Tedder and Mia Malley; and his sister Betty Kummer of Bridgeport.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burnside Funeral Home (607 S Virginia Ave, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (317 E Main St, Bridgeport, WV 26330).
