We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 83, Joe W. Brewer of Bridgeport, West Virginia, born in Shirley, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Norval O. Brewer and Rachel P. Johnson Brewer; his wife Dora Elaine Brewer; his son Tim Brewer; and his siblings, Warren Brewer, Denver Brewer, Garnet Shaffer, Vivian Brewer and Pauline Williams.

He is survived by : his daughter Stephanie Bailey of Claremont, NC; his granddaughter Kayce; and his little buddy Roscoe.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burnside Funeral Home (607 S Virginia Ave, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
