With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John F. Morton of Bridgeport, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morton, Jr. and Emma Belle Howell Morton; his wife Sandra K. Edwards Morton; his sons, John F. Morton, II and Chad E. Morton; and his brother James D. Smith.
He is survived by: his son Brian Morton of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Erica Boyd, Rachel Suite (Sam) and Ryan Morton; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Boyd and Logan Crumbliss; his siblings, Jack Morton of Clarksburg and Sandra Barrick (Roger) of Hilton Head, SC; his extended family, Pam Morton, Mark and Celesta Sanders; and his friends, Donnie, Francie Snyder, Richard and Rita Bailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Even while battling Parkinson's disease, and later cancer, John remained strong, independent, and deeply devoted to his family.
