He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Moore and Nellie Moore; his wife Ruth Ann Moore; his siblings, Nelson "Sonnie" Moore and Sylvia Wilson; his son David Paul Moore; and his grandson Scott Aaron Moore.

He is survived by : his sons, Carl Ray Moore of Bridgeport and Robert Weldon Moore of Wytheville, VA.; his daughter-in-law Amy Moore; his siblings, Jerry Moore and Sharon Gillespie; his sister-in-law Wilma Moore; his grandchild Kattie Sullivan (Michael); his great grandchild Liliana Ruth Sullivan; his granddaughter Amelia Moore; his great grandchildren, Weston and Hudson Moore; his grandchildren, David Moore (Moon) and Devon Hager (Roger); his great grandchildren, Graci Hager and Indea Shreves; his grandchildren, Audrey Moore and Kearystn Long (Ethan); his great grandchild Emma Long; and his grandchildren, Makynzie Richards, Dana Moore, Elijah Moore and Isaiah Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burnside Funeral Home (607 S Virginia Ave, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
