He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias R. Simon and Nellie Ann Wakem Simon; his wife Geraldine Louise "Gerry" Flannery Simon; his sons, David Andrew Simon and Tommy Simon; and his siblings, Catherine Courey, Simon, George, Wakem and Abe Simon.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Simon (Tracie) of Clarksburg and Robert Simon of Dunmore, WV; his grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Simon, Stephen Noah Simon and Christian William Simon; and his sister Jean Dupont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
