She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allen Kirk, Sr. and Iva Lucretia Funk Kirk; and her husband Glenn E. Copen, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Glenn E. Copen, Jr. (Debbie) of Kingwood and Jane Copen Fredlock (Jimmy) of Tucson, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Kirk Copen (Alison) of Bruceton Mills, Joshua Copen (Deanette) of Morgantown, Cassie Copen Weyer (Brad) of Wheaton, IL, Caitlin Fredlock Haines (Andrew) of Tucson and Bailie Fredlock Muñoz (Daniel) of Lisle, IL.; her sister Barbara Titchnell (Terry) of Kingwood; and her sister-in-law Christine Copen of Kingwood. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kingwood Funeral Home (295 S Price St, Kingwood, WV 26537). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
