He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Casteel and Icy Sisler Casteel. He is survived by : his children, Peggy Casteel Slagle Gunnoe (Jeff) of Bruceton Mills and Larry Casteel (Erica) of Bruceton Mills; his grandchildren, Chad Slagle (Jenny) of Parshall, CO, Travis Slagle (Michaela) of Pegram, TN, Kyle Slagle of Louisville, KY, Adam Casteel (Kristan) of Bruceton Mills, Jeremy Casteel (Jozy) of Masontown, WV, Matthew Casteel (Erica) of Kingwood, WV and Amanda (Michael Chipps) of Bruceton Mills; his sisters, Lucille Reasons of Bruceton Mills and Dollie Wolfe (Dot) of Ocala, FL; his friend Cora Liston of Albright, WV; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
