He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lewis, Elizabeth Harteis, Thecla Mae, Claire Templeton and Charles Crum; and his brother-in-law Robert Strazisar.
He is survived by: his parents, Paul Joseph and Cora Elsie Harteis; his wife Paige; his sons, Jerrod (Meredith Harteis) and Ryan (Mykiah Harteis); his grandchildren, Noah Lipscomb, Aubrey, Chesney, Cora, Mattalyn and Archer Harteis; and his sister Corinne Strazisar.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home (12 W Main St, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
