He was predeceased by: his parents, Staley G. Reckart and Lona Gaye Hauger Reckart; his son Roger Reckart; and his siblings, Glendine Savage, Rosalie Lawson and Dallas Reckart.

He is survived by: his wife Thelma Reckart; his daughter-in-law Deborah Reckart; his grandchildren, Jeffery Reckart (Ruta) and Angalena Little (Allen Jr.); his great grandchildren, Daniel Minikhanov, Iris Hoye, Conner Little, Lee Johnson IV, Kylie Little and Nathan Reckart; and his great great grandchild Matteo Gutierrez.
