With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jamie Mitchell Shaffer of Buckeye, West Virginia, born in Warren, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2024 at the age of 49. He was predeceased by : his father Terrence Mitchell Shaffer; and his sister Angela Dawn Shaffer. He is survived by : his mother Barbara Ann McKinney Shaffer of Salem; his sister Michelle "Shellie" Lynn Shaffer (Luke Carmichael); his children, Madison Shaffer (Kyle), Alex Jasovsky (Skyla), Katie Shaffer and Nathan Shaffer; his grandchildren, Keagan, Ryleigh, Layton, Oakley and Ivy; his nieces and nephews, Ottie Myer, Brandi Elliott (Matt), Jordan Elliott (Josh), Brandon Carder (Tori Maxon) and Isaac Owens; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaydence, Rowan, Chandler and Grace. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Doddridge County Park Oak Pavilion (1252 Snowbird Rd, West Union, WV 26456).
