It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert LEE Bennett of Buckeye, West Virginia, who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eary Bennett and Mattie Jackson Bennett; his wife Dorothy Shaver Bennett; his daughters, Cindy Sharp and Bertie Rosencrance; and his siblings, Edna Arbogast, Ruth Biggs, Anges Trainer, Guy, George "Babe" and Stanley Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Carpenter (Aaron) of Marlinton, Sandra Beckwith (Ronnie) of Valley Head, Robert "Bobby" Bennett Jr. of Marlinton and Randall Bennett (Sandy Krout) of Marlinton; and his brothers, Glade "Poke" Bennett of Dunmore and Keith Bennett (Edith) of Valley Head. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchildren.
