She was predeceased by: her father Berlin S. Karlen; her grandmothers, Stella Karlen and Hellen Demastes; her aunt Margaret Scheibelhoffer; her cousins, Kevin of Ohio and Cindy Scheibelhoffer of Ohio; her aunt Nancy (Charles Stewarts); and her cousins, Jeffery and Phillip Stewarts of Pennsylvania.
She is survived by: her mother Patricia M. Karlen; her siblings, Lee Anne Karlen and William "Billy" S. Karlen; her uncle Gayle; her aunt Mary Demastes; her cousins, Susie, Vickie, Cathy, Natalie Rowles (Scheibelhoffer), Tonya, Tommy and Amanda Scheibelhoffer; her aunt Loise Atkins; and her cousin Charice Atkins (Chuckey Stewarts) of Ohio.
