He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Tecumseh and Florence Bly Jenkins Propst; and his siblings, Dorsey, Herbert, Karl, Clarence, Howard Propst, Margaret Knight, Nettie Adams, Abbie Adams, Joan Knight and Oneta Gladys Propst.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice M. Bennett; his children, Everett Michael Propst (Laura Lynn) of Philippi, WV, Jenny Gale DeLong (David) of Buckhannon, Greta Lynn Reasnor (Gary) of McCurtain, OK and Adrienne Jaye McDonald (Patrick) of Manassas, VA; and his sisters, LeEllen DeAnselmi (Bud) of Clarksburg, WV and Oleta Birgman. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
