It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ike Johnson (Buckhannon, West Virginia), born in Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ike Johnson and Lola Hedrick Johnson; his son Jayson Johnson; his siblings, Dick Johnson and Janet Rader; and his stepgrandchildren, Ronald Bud Simmons and Dakota Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Johnson; his stepdaughters, Debbie Davis (Eric), Sandra Rooney (Vince) and Amy Bryant (Corey); his siblings, Jerry Johnson (Diane), Margaret Carter and Sandra Roby (Ron); his granddaughter Adra; his great grandchild Sagan; his stepgranddaughters, Michelle, Hilary, Taylor, Elaina and Harlie; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bailie, David, Achaia, Addison, Ava, Sophie, Shawn, Jase and Maci.

In lieu of flowers contributions ma be sent to WV Hospice 6 Hartman Plaza Buckhannon, WV 26201.
