She was predeceased by: her parents, Odos Simmons and Dorothy Cowger Simmons; her siblings, Wilma Schmuck, Opal Bowyer (Wendell) and Delmos Paul Simmons; and her brothers-in-law, Okey Silman and Junior Silman.
She is survived by: her close friend Michael Hazel; her siblings, Loy Simmons (Lorraine), Goldie Silman, Velma Silman (Ted), Wanda Silman and Lillie Fitzgerald (Gary); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Simmons and Jim Schmuck. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dodd & Reed Funeral Home (155 Mc Graw Ave, Webster Springs, WV 26288). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
