He is survived by: his wife Arlene Adams; his stepchildren, Rodney Burr (Margie) of Camden, WV, Rhonda Brooks of Buckhannon, WV, Tina Bowman (William) of Buckhannon, WV, Richard Burr of Hagerstown, MD, Frank Burr of Buckhannon, WV, Angela Hyre of Charleston, WV, Julia Foster (Scott) of Rock Cave, WV, Tommy Durant (Amanda) of Buckhannon, WV, Tony Durant of Buckhannon, WV, Linda Dye (Rick) of Virginia, Sherry Durant of Belington, WV and Jerry Squires of Buckhannon, WV.; and his brother James Adams. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Wounded Warrior Project.
