He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Goodwin Ratliff Jones; his grandparents, William Wilber Goodwin and Martha Miller Goodwin; and his son Wilbert David Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Betty Mae Baughman Goodwin; and his children, Rickie Goodwin (Lavonnia Simons), Helen Demastes (Richard), John Goodwin and Kimberly Goodwin Ford (Jerry Ford).
