With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Columbus Amon Stanley of Bud, West Virginia, who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Stanley and Rosa Stanley (Bishop); his siblings, Harrison Ted Stanley, Rosalyn Whitt, Ramona Cordell and Lee Roy Stanley; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Hylton, Amon Rowe, Roosevelt Whitt, Curtis Cordell, Betty Stanley, Debra Stanley and Karen Stanley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hobert Lewis Stanley of Beckley, Jonathon Stanley (Mary) of Fellows, CA, Joyce Hylton of Bud Mountain and Martha Rowe of Bud Mountain; and his close friend Roger Colbird of Bud Mountain. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
