She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Reed and Glacie Reed; her husband Glen Adkins; her daughter Linda Jones; her grandchildren, Joseph "Bubba" Lester and Virginia Jones; her children-in-law, Debbie Adkins and David Jones; and her siblings, Doug, Floyd, Roger, Ray Reed and Shirley Rash.
She is survived by: her children, Junior (Cynthia Adkins), David Adkins (Doris Adkins), Randal (Sharon Adkins), Sherry (Billy Beggs) and Donnie (Tara Adkins); and her siblings, Denny (Judy Reed), James (Ann Reed), Eva McClure, Susie Reed and Kathy (Ray Walls). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, & 24 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Directory Inc (654 Athens Rd, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Memorial. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
