She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reed Gatrell and Elizabeth Allen Gatrell Wolfskill; her husband Carl Wesley Higginbotham; and her brothers, William Allen Gatrell and James Howard Gatrell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Gatrell (Sharon) and Lucinda Reynolds (Patrick); and her son Kenneth Newbold (Kathy).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Buffalo Memorial Park.
