She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vance Grimes and Edna Smith Shuck; and her husband Bill Whittington. She is survived by: her children, Melody Matthews (Bill) and Billy Whittington (Brenda) of Buffalo; her grandson Anthony Whittington; her great grandchildren, Bryson, Kelsey and Braylea; her great great grandchildren, Wrenleigh and Daxton; her granddaughter Bailey Deweese; and her nephews, James Otis Whittington, Phillip Whittington and Nyle Whittington. She is also survived by her family, her church family, and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Buffalo Church of God (407 High St, Buffalo, WV 25033). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Buffalo All Horse Parade, 19505 Buffalo Road, Buffalo WV 25033. All contributions go to benefit HospiceCare.
