He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Stickel and Grace Tharpe Stickel; and his siblings, Harold Stickel, Sylvia Shiplett, Pearl Pearson, Ruth Godown, Madeline Cholwek, Waldo Stickel, Gilbert Stickel, Marie Bayne, Lorena Boos, Joyce Bishop and Richard Stickel.
He is survived by: his wife June E. Stickel; his children, Cynthia V. Manor (Michael D.) of Hedgesville, Glen E. Stickel (Beverly A.) and Mark E. Stickel; his grandchildren, Amber Armbrester (Ryan), Jonathon Stickel (Susann), Jessica Good (Bryan) and Adriana Stickel; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Garrett, Dalton, Catherine, Easton Armbrester and Jamie Salvador; and his sister June Symonds. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, dad requested memorial contributions be made to Berkeley County Humane Society, 554 Charles Town Road, Martinsburg, WV 25405, as he loved animals.
