He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy H. Holmes and Hallie Crowder Holmes; his wife Catherine Holmes; and his daughter Ann Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Doris Bond (Greg), Carolyn Payne (Jerry), Dean Holmes (Pat) and Richie Holmes (Denise). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
