She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Dunlap and Linda Swartz Dunlap; her husband Richard M. Abshire; her daughter Rhonda Mae Abshire; and her sisters, Ethel, Dorothy and Helen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Kay Craig (Roy) and Brenda L. Rogers (Ricky); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike), Matthew (Scott), Tommy and Amanda; and her great great grandchildren, Knox and Kaden. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
