He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Bonar and Cornelia Bonar (Harmison); his wife Patricia Ann Bonar (McCormick); and his siblings, James Sloan Bonar and Mary Alice Hannah (Bonar).
He is survived by: his daughter Vera Bonar Page (Howard) of Burlington; his granddaughters, Margaret A. Page of Burlington and Sara P. Almond (Kevin) of Missouri; his great grandchildren, Caroline and Karlyn; his sibling's children, Joe, Lynn, Sam, Sarah, Sloan, Kathy and Lisa; his siblings-in-law, Molly Bonar of Romney and Thomas McCormick (Patty) of Moorefield; his sons, Pedro and Joao; and his pets, Milo and Rex.
