She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Lee Abernathy and Mary Louise Shaffer (Parrish); and her brother William Thomas "Billy" Abernathy. She is survived by: her significant other Gary E. Willis; and her pets, Jasper, Bobo and Lucy.
The family kindly asks that flowers be omitted and requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Smith Funeral Home 2266 Northwestern Turnpike, Burlington, WV 26710 to assist in defraying funeral expenses.
