With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert G. Dayton of Burlington, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert G. Dayton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Dayton, Sr. and Sadie Esther Dayton (Weese); his daughter Stacy Linette Baker; his siblings, Charles Edward Dayton, Jr. (Mary Ellen), Gerald Seymour Dayton (Romaine) and Nancy Louise Dayton; his brothers-in-law, Paul and Dann Biser; and his nephews, Shayne Biser and Adam Biser.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Carol Dayton (Biser); his grandchildren, Austin Pierce Baker of Beckley, WV and Alyssa Jordyn Baker (Blaize Voit) of Burlington, WV; his great grandchild Glenn Walker Leary; his siblings-in-law, Gene Biser (Dorothy) of South Riding, VA, Dianne Biser of Burlington and Barbara Biser of Inwood, WV; and his sibling's children, Dana Iser, Paula Joyce, Charlene Porter, Shannon Reel and Duane Biser.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beaver Run Church of the Brethren (1774 Beaver Run Rd, Burlington, WV 26710).
