He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Dayton, Sr. and Sadie Esther Dayton (Weese); his daughter Stacy Linette Baker; his siblings, Charles Edward Dayton, Jr. (Mary Ellen), Gerald Seymour Dayton (Romaine) and Nancy Louise Dayton; his brothers-in-law, Paul and Dann Biser; and his nephews, Shayne Biser and Adam Biser.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Carol Dayton (Biser); his grandchildren, Austin Pierce Baker of Beckley, WV and Alyssa Jordyn Baker (Blaize Voit) of Burlington, WV.; his siblings-in-law, Gene Biser (Dorothy) of South Riding, VA, Dianne Biser of Burlington and Barbara Biser of Inwood, WV; his nieces, Dana Iser, Paula Joyce, Charlene Porter and Shannon Reel; and his nephew Duane Biser.
