She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Isaac Heavener and Rosie Bell Heavener (Goldizen); her former husband Philo Mongold; and her siblings, Mary Carr, Cleta Susan Goldizen, Roscoe Heavener and Leo Heavener.
She is survived by: her husband Delmer C. Vance; her children, Buddy Allen Mongold of Petersburg, WV, Brenda Mason of Winchester, VA and Sherry Hartley of Winchester, VA.; and her grandchildren, Phillip, Cheyanne and Nicki.
