It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L. Evans Phillippi of Cameron, West Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Evans and Jenny Blake Evans; her husbands, Arthur Anderson and Joseph Allen Phillippi; her siblings, Billy James, Teddy Evans, Mary Loschivo and Ronnie Evans; and her daughter Janet Izard (Ralph).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Cappone (Ray) of Wheeling, W. V. and Christy Rogers (Jim); her brother Williard Jr. Evans of Cameron, W. V.; her grandchildren, Mark Cappone (Molly), Beth Roell (Thomas), Martha Izard and Hattie DeBolt (Pete); her great grandchildren, Haley Cappone, Cameron Cappone, Sydni Haney, Evan Roell, Cheyenne DeBolt and Samantha Band (Kayleb); and her great great grandchildren, Thomas Haney, Solomon Haney, Penny Band and Lilah Band. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
