He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Taylor of Moundsville, WV; his children, Rheba Dinardi (Pete) of Moundsville, WV, Mary Chaplin (Mike Phillips) of Glen Easton, WV and Jason Pethtel (Kim) of Moundsville, WV; his siblings, Terry Smith of Zellwood, Carley Pethtel (Rebecca) of Zellwood Fl and Allen Pethtel of Moundsville, WV; his grandchildren, Casey, Bethany, Jacob, Stephanie, Justine and Keirstin; and his great grandchildren, Arlina, Sullivan and Noah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
