It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha J. Hook (Capon Bridge, West Virginia), who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. "Bill" Hook and Betty P. Hendrick Hook; her son Gary W. "Chippy" Shambaugh II; and her sisters, Barbara Largent, Joann M. Solomon and Pearl M. Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Shambaugh (Kristina) of Augusta, Marlena Ryan (Jon) of Gore and Samantha Shambaugh; and her siblings, David Hook, Wilma Abrell, Ruth Saulnier (Paul) and Millie Kemp. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
